Let us help make your planning easier!

Students will explore the concept of peace and how we make peaceful progress in our relationships, communities, country, and the world. Students will work in groups to develop activities for the International Day of Peace on September 21st and host an event for the MYP (leveraging relationships with the PTA, Admin, and other grade level leaders to create a campus wide day of peace).  Often peace is examined in its relationship/contrast to war. In this unit students will focus on the merits of peace and the ways people and communities thrive and progress in peaceful contexts. Emphasis on the language we use to: create and maintain peaceful spaces/relationships, gain cooperation to collaborate for event development, and build excitement to participate in peaceful communities and events.

This set contains a complete MYP unit plan, a customized Padlet full of multimodal texts and resources, a digital student interactive notebook, summative assessments, and more.

We map all of the global contexts, key and related concepts, tech integration, covering an extensive range of multimodal text types, and service connections into a complete curriculum freeing you up to focus on building the English lessons within this framework to meet your students' needs. The MYP unit planner, texts, and assessments are differentiated for emergent, capable, and proficient students.
